8½ is a film co-written and directed by Federico Fellini. The narrative centers on famous Italian film director Guido Anselmi (Mastroianni) who suffers from writer’s block as he attempts to direct a science fiction film. An international co-production between France and Italy, the film was shot in black and white. Fellini also uses surrealist passages throughout the film to increase its fantastical atmosphere.
The film will be shown in Italian with English subtitles.
